The theme of the conference comes from the IB mission statement, \u201ccreating a better and more peaceful world,\u201d and the programme for the five days takes its inspiration from the keynote speech by Jean Francois Rischard at the IB annual regional conference July, 2007. Rischard, author of High Noon: <strong>20 Global Problems, 20 Years to Solve Them<\/strong>, challenged the participants to act in ways that will bring about positive global change.
